Welcome to "Break the Loop"
Welcome to a journey toward mental clarity and spiritual rest. If you are looking to join this group, it is likely you are intimately familiar with "The Loop." You know the exhaustion of a mind that refuses to shut down, the weight of "What If," and the frustration of feeling like a spectator in your own thought life.
For too long, we have treated overthinking as a minor personality quirk or a necessary byproduct of a responsible life. However, as we will explore in these sessions, chronic rumination is a thief. It steals our presence from our families, our productivity from our work, and our peace from our relationship with God.

What is the "Break the Loop" Group?
Unlike traditional "talk therapy" groups, a psychoeducational group is structured much like a workshop. It focuses on providing you with specific information and practical skills to manage specific conditions or life circumstances.
Expert-led Learning
Each session is facilitated by a professional who shares evidence-based strategies.
Shared Experience
Learn alongside others who are facing similar hurdles in a supportive atmosphere.
Sessions
This group will feature 4 structured sessions.
-
The Anatomy of Thoughts: Understanding why your brain gets "stuck."
-
The Roots of Control: Exposing the fears that fuel our mental spinning.
-
The Art of Reframing: Learning to cross-examine our thoughts using the "Philippians Filter."
-
The Discipline of Stillness: Practicing the physical and spiritual art of "casting care."

Our Commitment
This is a "brave space." It is a place for honest self-reflection and practical labor. We will provide you with published clinical research and sound biblical exegesis, but the "meat" of this course happens in the Lab Work. Transformation occurs when the information in these chapters moves from the page into your daily habits.
You do not have to be a victim of your thoughts. You are a steward of your mind. We are honored to walk this path with you as we learn together what it means to truly "be still and know."
